I needed an adapter to attach my Stanley 1-1/2" vacuum hose to my shop vacuum blast gates. This allows me to do that. It fits inside the 4" input of the blast gates. I glued it in permanently once I had it done. The 1-1/2" inlet should fit most standard 1-1/2" hoses also.
