Blinking Christmas Tree + Base

Christmas tree form with holes for 5mm LEDs. Base is sized for 9V battery. Wire it up ala thing: 14713 and it'll stand up where you put it. Or hang it from the Christmas tree. Instructions With a well adjusted machine print a tree. Use the schematic in thing: 14713 (Blinking Christmas Tree Wreath) -- or another circuit if you'd like. Push 5mm LEDs into the holes. You may need to use a 5mm drill or hand reamer to clean out the holes. The recess in the back of the tree is to hold the CD4060BE chip, dead-bug style, with a bit of glue. There is a wire stay at towards the bottom. If you'd like, print a base. The tree will slot into the base with press-fit. With a 9v battery installed (it'll stick part way out), it is very stable. When printing the base, make sure the big hole is down. The small key-slot should be at the top. When press-fitted, the ridges on the parts provide a solid connection. OpenSCAD file included. Requires the .dxf file for the tree. There is a variable at the top: MAKE_TREE_PART = 1; -- change that from a zero to a 0 to get the base part.
