Blood Antibody exercise

thingiverse

This is intended to be a set of manipulatives to help students understand A/B blood typing, and antigen/antibody pairings. Students struggle with these concepts, most likely due to terminology problems. Giving them a concrete example of "Anti-A" will help them realize that doesn't mean "B." While it can be used as is on the table top, if you insert magnets in the provided locations it can be used on a magnetic whiteboard, or two halves combined to make a complete whole if you don't want to work on a flat surface. Preferred magnet sizes are 5mm x 3 mm and 4 mm x 2mm.
