Bltouch adaptor add-on for HTA3D extruder
thingiverse
This is a simple add-on for using bltouch sensors with this extruder. To install it, unscrew the top and bottom left screws while holding the motor in place a couple of mm, slide the part into position, and then tighten the screws again. You may need to use longer screws, but I'm not certain if that's necessary. Keep in mind that this is an untested add-on, as I've only used it on my machine for a short period of time. In the past, I had to modify a previous version of this part by drilling new holes and adding nuts at the bottom because it had some defects. The newer version has those corrections, but I haven't tested them yet. When using the G28 command for the first time, be very careful not to crash your nozzle onto the bed, as the "depth" of the sensor can vary from person to person. Feel free to modify the attached SketchUp file if you need to make any changes. Edit: After several dozen hours of printing with this add-on, I can confirm that it works well and has the right size. It may not be the most elegant solution, but it gets the job done.
