Yesterday it happened: while draining my motorhome's Dometic toilet tank, the cap slipped out of my hand, and disappeared in the drain ... Bummer. :( In stores these things go for 20 euro and more, so time for some DIY'ing ! :) Since this cap has a 6mm pitch buttress thread, it has to be printed open end down to avoid overhang and support issues. A 2 part breakaway support is already in the design, so no support is needed. Finish off with a bead of silicone, an O-ring or other type of end seal.
