Blue Peter style badge

The long-running BBC children's television programme *Blue Peter* has [a series of badges](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Peter_badge) they give to exceptional people who contact or appear on the show. Now, you can make your own badge inspired by the classic *Blue Peter* badge. This shape has been made to exactly match the measurements of a 1980s-era *Blue Peter* badge I own (shown in the attached photos). The sailing-ship motif on the flat front of the real badge is not present on this model; you are free to add your own design inspired by the show's logo, or something else entirely. No pin is provided on the back of this model; you can get one to glue on from a craft shop, or reuse a pinback from another small badge. PLEASE NOTE: This is not intended as a fake or counterfeit *Blue Peter* badge for fraudulently obtaining the benefits of a genuine badge! It won't work as one, anyway; children who earn a genuine *Blue Peter* badge get [a photo ID](http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/5094782.stm) they need to also show to gain the badgeholders' benefits, and the current-day badges have a slightly-different shape and sculpted details not present on this model. This model is only intended as a little old-school pop-culture-inspired accesory for modern-day nostalgics, costumers and cosplayers (classic *Doctor Who* companion [Ace](http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Ace) wore two of these on her jacket!), and anyone else who can have some harmless fun with the idea.
