Blueberry rake

Blueberry rake

thingiverse

A simple blueberry rake for blueberry harvesting. How to use: print the thing and place it in a small bucket (I used a bucket from 1kg yogurt), hold together and gently rake the blueberry bush from the bottom and individual blueberries will fall directly into the bucket - do this slowly to minimize damage to the bushes and prevent any unwanted leaves mixed with the berries. I was able to harvest about 2kg of blueberries per hour using this device. Print settings: IMPORTANT - the dimensions are optimised for 0,6mm line width (if you use different, then it will likely not be so strong and will take considerably longer as the printer will have to print awkward widths using zigzag movement). For strength purpose I suggest using 4 or 5 walls (this does not increase the width for the thin parts and prints them purely as walls - those are 2,4mm thick, but increases the strength especially in the part where the spikes join the base where strength is needed the most. Other settings - 1,5mm top/bottom width, no infill, printed in PLA (PETG is too flexible).
