A Great Clock Project that I wanted to add additional features. Below is the list of remix.... Original build - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4207524 Improved 3D printing I separated the white face to be printed separately from the shell. Then I glued the white face with the shell. I also modified the LED mount for easy installation. No change in Core or template. Please collect the files from the original post. Updated firmware Included INO file should have enough information to guide you with the header file content. Or you can just hard code the credential in the ino file. The original post has two separate ino file. I combined them in one. App-Controlled I used BLYNK platform to create the user interface. I used NodeMCU V 1.0 for this project. If you are new to BLYNK -- by default BLYNK gives 2000 points for app widget. I do not know if that 2000 is enough for this project. I purchased some points for my other projects. If 2000 is not, enough, then you can leave the brightness slider out. or not use the color offset. Features-- OTA firmware update after initial firmware upload. Change the clock face color using the app. HR color offset allows different colors for hour digits. Brightness sliders allow custom brightness for both downlight and clock face. The auto button syncs the slider to light sensor value. The random button randomly changes the color of the clock face every 5 seconds (you can change the delay time in the ino file). After nodeMCU reset, Random color selection will go to auto. The clock will maintain the previously selected color for both minute and hour digits. After reset, brightness will be selected from the sensor. At dark, the clock will turn off..... you can then use the slider to turn it on.
