BMCC tripod adapter for 3/8" screw

The Blackmagic Cinema Camera has a 1/4" BSW-UNC screw fitting, but I needed it to fit a tripod with 3/8" BSW thread. Assuming a plastic print would not be robust enough to make an adapter, I've used a brass bush which often comes with lightweight light stands, or can be found on eBay. Together with the printed base, it makes a stable adapter. The brass bushes are 13mm high, with a 1/4" thread on one side and a 3/8" tap on the other. A STL of the bush is included for comparision, but not recomended for use if you print only PLA or ABS !! To stop the camera rotating on the plate, the plate is threaded for an M5 screw that fits in a locating pin hole in the camera. If v2 is too tight try v3 or v4.
