This is my compact solution for using the BMG direct drive with the V6 hotend. No tube between the drive and hotend! No modification to the existing mounting plate or wiring. All small and compact. Idea is to get away with as little weight as possible. On the fan duct, I have no means of simulating it other than testing in real application. I done the overhang print, with very good results. up to 80° without fail. I would say 70° is still fine, but higher is an issue. Don't think adding more airflow would change that.
