** Update 16th Oct 2021 - Version 2 Upload ** Due to uploading Version 2 files the original files have been renamed accordingly. The should all have a V1 subscript now. Changes for Version 2: * Nema17Mount: The side supports have been strengthen due to a couple of breakages tightening screws. The cable mounting points have been changes with a compact and higher version to choose from. * Main Mount: Belt catches moved outwards to allow mods above. Cooler Manifold mounts moved outwards (and strengthened) to aid assembly. The side vents on the mounts have also been reshaped to hopefully help air escape better. * Cooler Manifold: Made wider at the back to help cable space around the heatsink and aid assembly. * Ducts: Slight adjustments on the top frames so they clear the wider manifold. Update - 11th May 2021 - Added V2 files for 3 main components. Adjusted self tapping hole sizes and a mistake on the nut capture recess on cooler manifold. Update - 5th May 2021 - Added Step files for the 3 main components. ** Introduction ** Prior to developing this extruder set up I had been using [Thinker S Dual Blower Hotend for Stock and E3D V6](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4431538) by Madizmo. As a bowden setup it worked well but required more retraction than recommended for the E3D V6 HotEnd. I felt that this was causing me printing issues with some of the more exotic filaments and I was also keen to try printing TPU. So, in the pursuit of science I decided to switch to a Direct Drive configuration. I planned to upgrade to linear rails on both the Y and X axis at the same time. I thought that by changing the X axis I would be able to use a direct drive system intended for a Tevo Tarantula. However, although I have been able to utilise parts from other projects it didn’t work out this way and the three main components are my own design even if heavily influenced by others.
