Hi all, I wanted a filament runout sensor that wouldn't waste the last 30 cm or so of filament and that wouldn't be intrusive. So I thought of using the BMG extruder arm motion to trigger a switch. So far its working pretty well, just wanted to share the idea. If you think it is interesting, let me know. Of course, it doesn't detect jams, only filament runout. Thanks.
