The new Victron Battery Monitor is a Bluetooth Smart equipped device. No longer do you need to mount the unit in a cabinet and string cable throughout your RV, or Boat. You can simply monitor the device remotely using the Victron Connect Application on your Smart Phone, or Tablet within range of the Bluetooth transmission. This case allows you to mount the BMV-712 display unit on a bulkhead...so that it is visible when looking inside the compartment where it is housed. It allows easy mounting and will provide some level of protection for the device. There are two holes in the back lid. These are for the UTP cable which connects the BMV display to the Shunt...and also a second hole should you want to connect the BMV to a CCGX or Venus GX control unit...using a VE.Direct cable. There should be enough room to also allow small wires to access the relay pins on the back of the unit if desired.
