Boat Ladder Standoff

These stand-offs are to move the ladder away from the transom on my Catalina 22. They have three bolt holes, though the third hole needs to be drilled in the ladder. Though not absolutely necessary the top bolt will keep the stainless from bending out at the top. The holes will need to be drilled out some 3/8 bolts are what I used to connect the ladder to the boat. Slots were added to help the product stay more rigid, The slots are slanted slightly and should be slanted away from the boat. Picture is of old two hole version. A backing plate inside the boat is ideal to spread the load out. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00COCD2BG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I added the leg stand-offs that I used to keep the ladder from swinging inwards. I used double sided automotive sticky tape, but may redesign to use a bolt if the tapes doesn't hold up in the water.
