This bobbin was designed to fit the S10 Spinning wheel. This is a bobbin driven wheel with the drive wheel moving the bobbin, and the flyer attached to a brake. To build this, print out both ends. Attach them to a piece of PEX tube. You can get the PEX water pipes from HomeDepot for a few bucks. The material is soft, and can be cut with a sharp knife. I recommend using glue to attach the PEX to the bobbin ends. Print Settings Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Infill: 40% Notes: The whorl is upside down. Please flip it over so that the largest pulley is flat on the print bed. The opposite end (non-whorl) can be printed either way, but I recommend flipping it so that the small hole is on the bottom, and the larger hole is on top. The Slicer may require supports if you print it large hole on bottom. Post-Printing To finish the project, you will need a short piece of 1/2" PEX or similar water pipe. CPVC may also work depending on the size. Insert it into the large holes on each end of the parts. Be sure to use glue. I recommend using general purpose Gorilla Glue, or SuperGlue. You can obtain the PEX water pipes from most home improvement stores. I was able to source it at Home Depot. They sell "repair" pieces for about $3. They are about 2 feet long. I was able to build several bobbins using a single piece.
