This propeller was designed using the **"BOEING HSNLF AIRFOIL"**. It was tested on the **[Micro Drone Propeller Thrust Testing Jig](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2302071)** (results below). It was printed slowly, with a **[0.2mm nozzle](http://amzn.to/2qQdFvg)** at 0.05 layer height. Check out the printing details below for more information. Cleaned with an **[X-ACTO Knife](http://amzn.to/2pV1sGA)**, then sanded with **[500 grit sandpaper](http://amzn.to/2pTNwic)**. Here are the thrust readings for a few voltage values (you can also view these in the images): - **1.5V** => **15.23 grams** - **2V** => **21.42 grams** - **2.5V** => **27.04 grams** - **3V** => **41.98 grams** The included files contain all the pictures taken during the test, along with 6 txt files which contain the airfoil in various positions (rotated, scaled and translated on the Z axis), the STL files and the SLDPRT files. If you want to use this propeller, make sure you get a [8520 coreless motor](http://amzn.to/2qPUhi4). If you were to reassemble them, insert them in SolidWorks as "Curves through XYZ" in ascending order. Then, through a few processes, you can get to the design of this propeller. You'll notice the Z value is incremented by 5mm each time. If you modify this value, you'll end up with either a longer or a shorter version of the propeller blade. Use the two SLDPRT files, in case you want to make your own changes to the propeller. **Notes:** Airfoil plotted using the matplotlib library in python.
