Bondrewd's White Whistle

The White Whistle belonging to The Lord/Sovereign of Dawn, Bondrewd the Novel from the anime/manga series "Made in Abyss". Modelled in Maya Student version using various techniques, and converted to an stl with the desired orientation using 3D Builder. It has a working whistle built into it, which is a modification of thing 1046 (link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1046 ). All aesthetic modelling is completely original, based off images from the manga and screenshots from the anime. For the best results, print it in the orientation it comes in with supports only from the build-plate (supports everywhere would add irremovable supports inside the whistle which would prevent it from making a sound), with a raft to guarantee that thumbnail prints correctly, and doesn't get squashed into the build plate. The example photos use a resolution of 0.15mm, 2 0.4mm skin layers, and 20% infill. The air from the whistle exhausts between the thumbs. Holes between the fingers allow the installation of a string or leather thong to wear it around your neck without interfering with the finish of the model, as an obvious ring would. This method also allows the knot to be discreetly hidden inside the whistle meaning that only a single continuous length of string ends up being visible on the outside. The whistle is fairly loud, but requires a lot of breath to get it going due to the interior structure of the whistle. The tone is that of a standard sports whistle without the pea, and not the haunting note of a true White Whistle. I hope you enjoy this thing I made.
