Bondtech BMG Mount for CR10S

Bondtech BMG Mount for CR10S

The official mount for the Bondtech BMG extruder did not fit on my CR10S. The motor directly conflicted with my Z axis lead screw. I cant explain why, as I was following the instillation instructions to the letter. But never the less, it would not fit. So to solve the issue I created my own mount. Actually I remixed on I found on thingiverse because I am too lazy to make the whole thing. I honestly do not know who I remixed this from, but the original did not leave enough space between the filament sensor and the BMG, so I could not retract filament very easily once I got to the end of the roll. This model fixes that. Also this model has enough room for me to mount the bondtech in either orientation. Since I have a CR10S this includes a compartment for the filament sensor. It is mounted to the CR10S frame through the original mounting holes for the stepper motor. Further the Filament sensor has two holes to mount into that are not threaded. I just screwed it in with a bit of force and the screws cut their own threads. I used X4 8mm M3 bolts and X4 M3 nuts for the mounting bracket. Bolts for mounting the BMG came with it, and I reused the mounting screws from the original filament sensor. for anyone else upgrading to a BMG I hop you find this helpful. Feel free to message me if you need modifications.
