Integrated in the library of the Group of Friends of Montemor-o-Novo, this eighteenth-century book, printed in Coimbra, integrates the decrees of the Council of Trent convened by Pope Paul II between 1545 and 1563, which was the response of the Catholic Church to Protestant Reformation. This version is an original copy of the Asilo Montemorense of the Childhood Desvalida, that was installed in the Convent of the Greeting until the decade of 60 of century XX.
