Visit our website www.tomo.love to see more details about this build!
— The busts featured in these bookends come compliments of Scan the World, the world's premier archive of works of art in three dimensions. The first bookend is a bust of an Italian peasant, which is housed in a private collection in Italy. The second is Queen Nefertiti, wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten of the18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, and possibly a Pharaoh in her own right. Her bust is a crown jewel of Berlin's Neues Museum. Each bookend is about 17 cm tall (though naturally can be scaled to taste in your slicer), and is quite stable thanks to a tab that has been added to each half of the base. To get extra grip on exceptionally slippery shelves, however, you may wish to elongate these tabs. — Taking into account these print recommendations should yield the highest quality results ‣ Print slowly (<50 mm/s) to maintain the highest possible surface resolution ‣ Include 3+ shells to minimize the visibility of your infill (the denser the better) ‣ Nefertiti only requires support (the denser the better) below her chin and nose ‣ The peasant requires support (the denser the better) for the brim of his cap, chin, and nose — For unaltered bust files, visit Scan the World's page for Italian peasant and Queen Nefertiti.
