This is my 2nd take on the bookshelf speaker design. Again, it uses the Visaton FRS 8 M speaker and a bass reflex cabinet. This one prints very easily with support only for the speaker and cinch-connector openings. It works really well and I assembled the speaker without any damping material (e.g. polyester wool) inside. This one is supposed to be a passive bookshelf speaker, so there is no space for an amp or bluetooth module. I would suggest using an amp that can boost the bass by 4-6dB. These little speakers sound quite amazing :) As an alternative I added a design for a passive circuit to get a more linear frequency response and attenuate the higher frequencies. Please take a look at the pictures. The frequency graph shows the response without the passive correction.
