Bookshelf Speaker Desk Stand

Bookshelf Speaker Desk Stand

thingiverse

I designed this stand to mount my Paradigm Atom bookshelf speakers on my desk at the ideal listening height while leaving space underneath to run cords. Small cutouts on the top allow for standard 3M rubber feet (13mm) to be mounted to isolate from vibration. Each foot is similarly designed with a 24mm diameter 1mm deep circular recess to allow for mounting of standard plumbing rubber washers to isolate vibrations on the bottom. The design is such that the load of the speaker is placed immediately over the strongest edge of each foot, connected via the rubber inserts, guaranteeing no noise from vibration. I used standard sizes, so there it should be easy to get rubber inserts that fit perfectly at your local big-box store if you don't already have them around the house.
