Boosted Board Accessory Plate

Boosted Board Accessory Plate

I have a Boosted Board for getting around town, and I wanted a way to keep all of the various accessory pieces neatly organized. This is what I came up with. This accessory plate holds the battery charger with a separate clip for the charger's barrel plug, a Unit skateboard tool, and has a peg to hang the hand remote from assuming a wrist strap is being used. Everything I need is right where I can find it, and kept out of sight beneath the board when it's on the hangar. Instructions The plate is approximately 200 mm square, so a large volume printer is required. I produced mine on a LulzBot TAZ5. An Ultimaker would also do, or maybe one of the new MB Replicators. I printed in ABS with 10% infill, but the charger doesn't get particularly hot, so PLA would do just fine as well. Many of the structures have overhang, so printing with support is a must. I put four screw holes in the design for symmetry, but honestly the charger is not that heavy, so one could get away with only using two. That said, I recommend using plastic drywall anchors unless it's being screwed directly to a stud.
