Custom canopy and other parts I designed for the TurboBee 136rs. My canopy is about 2 grams heavier than the factory version, but a lot more sturdy, gets the cam above the prop line, and just looks better. The cam mount allows 25-45 degrees of tilt. I usually run 35 on my faster quads. The SC V1 canopy fits a short cam like EOS1, Razer, Toothless 2 nano standard and has a plain rear end. The SC V2 also fits short cams, but has an added support for a vtx antenna. I used the Emax nano on mine. Use a washer under the rear canopy mount or the post will dig into the TPU. The feet are basically to protect the screw heads. Med and High refers to the center bump. The Thick version has an extra .5mm under the screw head. Screws are in 1mm increments and I needed an in between size to be perfect. 3/1/2021 Looks like I screwed up exporting files and several were the same model with a different name. I think I have it fixed now. 3/2/2021 I noticed at 35 degrees tilt (centered) with my toothless 2 standard in 4:3 wide PAL, I can see just a touch of blue canopy in the corners of the screen. I don't know if it is any better or worse at other angles. Comment if you want me to fix it. Or I'll probably just leave it for now. 3/3/2021 Added the battery pad STL. I printed this out of ninja flex. It's a little harder than I'd like, but I have used it for this purpose in the past and it was fine. I used weather strip cement to attach it to the bottom of the carbon frame. 3/5/2021 Added canopy versions SC V1.1 (smooth back) and SC V2.1 (antenna support). These canopies have the cam ring cut back, widened, and thickened. It doesn't offer as much protection now that the lens is almost flush, but you can use the full adjustment range without having any TPU in view. Also added some integrated edge support to help with a cleaner print. It is thinned where it meets the body to make easier to trim off. All regular support is still required. Now that the build is complete, I'm going to spend time flying and tuning and move on to the next one. So this will probably be the last update. Tips are not required, I do this for fun, but they are helpful in buying more parts to design around and would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 3/8/2021 Corrected file issue with TurboBee Canopy SC V1.1 11/2/2021 Recently rebuilt my TurboBee on a stronger custom frame. I thought the TPU parts could use an update as well. Added a fixed 40 degree cam canopy, thicker battery strap guide for under the stack, new battery lead retainer, and a support for mounting an 8mm diameter cap vertically behind the stack.
