Got sick of the bolt on my printers moving about and disrupting the Z-Axis home position, so made this more stable adjuster, complete with a nice easy to use adjustment wheel. Used a M5 x 50 Pinnacle Brand hex bolt and nut from Bunnings for it's shaft, with a matching washer on the bolt to stiffen the adjustment wheel in the base. I used a soldering iron @ 200°C to carefully melt the nut into the shaft piece. The switch uses the existing screws that hold it to the Z-Axis stepper mount, and the switch will need extra cable pulled through from the control box. This required removing the control board for me to release the cable. The base piece is designed with M4 mounting bolts, and is designed to mount to the 30x60 frame just under the Z-Axis assembly so the switch triggers on the plastic used to reinforce the bolt hole. I'll probably be designing a 20x20 version of the base piece for a printer I'm making, so if you want a 20x20 compatible version, stay tuned! It will use the same shaft piece and adjustment wheel.
