Bosch 1617 LED Air Deflector

I have needed a better way of seeing the tool while cutting on my CNC. I currently use a Bosch 1617 for my spindle. It cools itself by pulling air through the top and out of the bottom. This tends to push dust outside of the shroud and into the air. I made this little mount to allow the air to be pushed out to the sides, instead of straight down. I have not had much time using it yet, but it should help reduce the amount of dust being generated outside of the shroud. I may change it to allow for a more directed air stream to better collect the dust. I could wall off an area of the LED mount with an opening pointed towards the dust collection area. I may be able to make several of these for different operations. I have no idea if it would help yet but, if the air could be forced directly at the cutter or slightly behind or in front of it, then it could help clear the path before or after the cut. Using downcut bits on certain materials tends to pack it into the path. This could, depending on the size of the cutter, force the cutter to deflect slightly. This could cause issues with very specific parts needing tighter tolerances. LED Mount: I did not have an LED ring, so I used 4 sections of 6k LED strips. I soldered leads between the sections to allow it to mount around the inside of the ring. I could not make the ring larger without interfering with tool changing. The angle of the mount could be better, but it lights everything much better than I expected. To mount it, I used 2 4mm bolts that were 12mm long. There are 2 empty threaded holes to mount this to. I used an M4 drill and tap bit to cut the threads in the LED mount for easier insertion. The mount has cut outs to allow for the other bolts that are present to fit into. I ran an extension cord through my cable chains when I first got it to allow me to throw devices on there whenever I needed to. I used a 12v power supply and an LED dimmer to control the brightness. I then ran the power through my dust shrough using a hole that has a captured nut in it. It was just big enough. The dust shroud is made by kent, i believe. CNCROUTERPARTS/Avid CNC recommended this shroud.
