Bosch 18 V battery powerbank / power supply

<p>This is an adapter box to turn your Bosch 18 V battery into a powerbank, or a lab power supply!</p><p>Using edge connectors that snap into the housing, a cheap 4 x USB step-down-converter module and an automotive fuse, you can use your existing batteries as an emergency supply.</p><p>Works great with your TS100 soldering iron via the XT60 plug for a portable in-the-field iron!</p><p>Using 2.5mm² wire for a 5 A automotive fuse the case does become quite cluttered, so maybe 1.5mm² and just 3 A of fuse might be easier to assemble.&nbsp;</p><p>The 4mm banana jacks have the standard 0.75" spacing and can be used to supply DC-DC lab modules down the line.</p><p>The support situation can be quite tricky, so best use the attached .3mf file which uses support blockers for hard-to-get-to locations.</p><p>The trickiest thing to source is the blade terminal with locking tab. These are widely used in the car industry for confectionable plugs. The part number I found was “8KW048056-033” for a 6.3mm blade with 2.5mm² wire capacity. Getting them in is quite tight since there is JUST enough room to push the blades through from the inside.
