What is it: Bosch dishwasher lower rack wheel Why: One of my wheels broke and the lower rack kept dropping, so I took it as an opportunity to begin to learn fusion 360 and simplify3D and the right combination of settings to replicate a nice part. It's a fairly small. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Z18 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 100% Notes: Addition Simplify3D print specs: Layer: 3 shells Additions: Raft offset- 3mm / Sep distance 0.17mm Support: S infill 20% / Horizontal sep offset 0.4mm / Pillar S resolution 3mm Temperature: Extruder 214C / Chamber 20C (it's cold in the garage) How I Designed This First dimensional, functional part built in Fusion 360. Used Adobe Illustrator and calipers to spec Fusion sketches, brought screen grab as canvas and followed my dimensions. New to solid modeling and while there are $5 replacement parts available, I wanted to challenge myself to make something useful while learning Fusion. Purchased Simplify3D for more slicing control. Works great.
