When I tried to remove my washing machine pump filter cap I couldn't, due to something (eventually proven to be a piece of plastic) stopping it. I knew from experience that trying to use pliers would break the handle (been there, bought the replacement) so this time I took the 2 hours needed to design and print this handle, that gives enough leverage to 'persuade' any flexible obstructions to give way. If you still hit a 'dead stop' then you will need to access the pump pipework from underneath the machine. This was designed to fit my specific machine but I think the pump and filter cover are a pretty standard size.
