Brackets to add a second bottle cage to an old road bike with the 28mm frame tube. I used these for the 1986 Peugeot bike in the photo and they're sized so you can slip a bit of tape or rubber under them to avoid marking the paint. Two versions: one with captive nut, one without. I printed them in PLA and found the bolts cut their own thread in the material so no need for the nut. I'd suggest putting the brackets in hot water for a couple of minutes first so they're flexible enough to slip over the frame or they may snap. I used cap head stainless socket screws from Screwfix, £3.39 for a bag of 50. I've sized the bosses so you can use the same bolts for the bottle cage but do be careful you don't wind them into the paint if your cage is a thin one!
