I picked a random bottle opener design (by leemes; attribution link below) which I flattened using a simple OpenSCAD script which projects the model down to 2D. (OpenSCAD is my go-to tool for modeling and model processing.) I then cut it in 10 mm acrylic using the Redsail CM1490 laser cutter at Stockholm Makerspace. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:132632
