Inspiration from Jolars' make for a Nikon Speedlite (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:643507). Comparison photos are bounce flash / direct flash. The blank shot is of a white wall, area approx 5' x 5' to show the light spread. (The colour cast is due to printing my prototype for this with pink filament.) I take my flash photos with a Canon S5is at high optical zoom (up to 20x) and minimum aperture (f8) from about 5 foot away. The indirect flash softens shadows and eliminates glare and bright spots.
