When bow hunting, it is common to tie a rope to your bow and then pull it up after you get into your stand. Instead of going and buying some carabiners, I made this to tie my rope to and then use for wrapping and hooking the bow to pull up into the tree.
Tie the rope to the loop of the hook, feed it through whatever you want to pull up into the tree, and use the hook to secure it onto the rope.
Can also be used when tracking to mark points.
