Bowers & Wilkins PX Arm Shims

Bowers & Wilkins PX Arm Shims

prusaprinters

I loved my Px, but they have silly flimsy arm designs (thanks to Native industrial designs for being very practical), and mine broke after a few years of abuse.
Supergluing the arm back into the slot was ineffectual because there is insufficient meat to give the assembly the necesarry lateral support.

Here I have shared a two part shim solution.
Superglue the arm in the slot (clear out as needed before hand) and then superglue these shims in place to the arms and the base.
These should give the needed lateral support.
While the glue is setting, rotate the arm mechanism to make sure the assembly can still rotate.

Print in your prefered material with a small later height, lots of infill and plenty brim.
I printed in an enclosure.
