Here's how it is: The model I made is perfect for anything VR-related, in real-time, 3D printing, architectural interiors, visualizations, animations, or any computer-generated project. This one can actually be 3D printed with no problems and matches what you'd find in the real world when it comes to size. It was first built using 3ds Max 2016 and then exported for use elsewhere. To get more detailed results, I split this model into many smaller parts. Originally designed as a single solid object, all set for subdivision to give it a more refined look. You'll also see that I've applied a Turbosmooth modifier with two passes right on top of the basic mesh structure for extra polish. It sits pretty at zero, dead center in its environment. Rendering this baby used Vray 3.0, nothing but plain old standard Vray material here and no textures - easy peasy! But keep in mind that the lighting's been taken care of outside this 3ds Max scene. Measurements wise for a solid 3D print: we're looking at a nice size of roughly 24.8 meters by 24.8 meters, or 17.6 meters on the vertical axis. Don't worry - if you need anything tweaked, hit me up!
