I made this thing to use as a game. Instead of the bowling ball a steel marble can also be used. How I Designed This I started with the base and made sure that the ball return spots were wide enough for a steel marble. Then I made the pins and made ten. I then made the ball and scaled it all. You could either use a steel marble as a bowling ball, of you can make the pins more hollow and the bowling ball more dense.
