The Box and Block Test (BBT) measures unilateral gross manual dexterity and involves moving blocks from one compartment to another within 60 seconds. It is a quick, simple, and inexpensive test that can be used with a wide range of populations, including clients with stroke. Clients are scored based on the number of blocks transferred, and higher scores indicate better manual dexterity.
