These are shields that can be added around the latches on the electronic boxes commonly used on Foil drive-style diy experiments. They keep the leash, etc. from popping the lid latches while on the water. The short version is for my smallest enclosure box. The groove on the back is allow passage of my safety attach line that I secure to the leash mounting point on the board for insurance.
