Box with compartment for pool chlorine tablets

Good morning, everyone, I share with you a box with 3 compartments to contain the chlorine tablets and maintain your pool. I have a small swimming pool with about 4.5 cubic meters of water capacity. In addition, I bought chlorine tablets to prevent the bacteria culture broth and the greening of the water. I put a tablet in the water to "see". The next day, the tablet had dissolved slightly and had discoloured the bottom of my pool (a white stain appeared). So I modelled and printed a box with several compartments because for 4.5 cubic meters of water, it is indicated on the packet of chlorine tablets to count 1 tablet for 1 to 1.5 cubic meters. Consequently, I created 3 compartments. Then it had to be able to float and circulate to dissolve the chlorine tablets throughout the pool and not sink and attack the bottom. So I connected the 3 compartments together to distribute the mass over the water. Also, I strongly advise to print without filling (0% hollow) in order to trap air and guarantee the flotation otherwise unfortunately it will sink. The circulation given by the filter pump will allow the box to move around the pool and treat each area. The chlorine will dissolve slowly and everywhere. The lids are important, they are the ones that contain the air and provide the ability to float the box. The thread is to be worn a little at the beginning, after 2-3 successive screwing-unscrewing, they are screwed correctly without problems. Caution: The resistance of the filament to water / chlorinated water must be monitored. Is the PLA resistant long enough? Perhaps another type of filament is more suitable? I don't really know, maybe you could share your experiences with me! :-) Edit: After 2 months of non-stop use, I notice a slight deformation of the lids. It is well known that PLA deforms under heat and as the lids protrude slightly from the surface of the water, they are less cooled and the sun's rays heat up quite a bit during the summer (even in Normandy). I therefore recommend using another material that is less sensitive to heat. On the other hand, chlorinated water/water does not seem to have any effect on the object.
