Boxer at Rest A printable model of Boxer at Rest, a.k.a. Terme Boxer or Boxer of the Quirinal. This is a fantastic example of Greek, bronze statues that have lived on to modern times. The statue now resides at a museum in Rome. Attribution I did not create or capture this model myself, I cleaned up this 123d Catch model and made it printable. The Models There is one larger and one smaller version of each: With segments of the floor (for added stability and adhesion) and without. You may need a brim for the smaller versions, depending on your printer. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 mk2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 5% Notes: You can get away with other resolutions (especially larger resolutions for the bigger models) and infill percentages. I wouldn't go above 15 or 20% for the infill percentage, because it would become extremely time consuming — especially for the larger models. Supports work well with an overhang threshold of 40° Post-Printing Remove the Supports Remove the supports rather carefully, especially around the hands. Everywhere else should be pretty sturdy. How I Designed This This is a cleaned up version of this 123d Catch model. I removed some extraneous material in MeshMixer before rotating it so that it would print correctly and cutting it at the base (a few times) to provide a flat, printable area. This cutting is how the two variations of the model (with floor and without) came about. In order to isolate the pedestal, I had to cut away some small part of it at the bottom — but it's not too much that it comes out looking odd or is something to be worried about.
