Here you will find three files for a Boxford Metric Thread Dial Indicator. The top Dial and two gears, 20 tooth and 21 tooth. Both gears have a 6 X 6 square hole and are designed to fit a 3mm pitch lead screw as fitted to Boxford Matric Lathe. I have also attached the data plate from a Boxford lathe showing what gear is to be used for what thread pitch. A You tube video is available on the construction of the main body and assembly. search Enots Engineering, see part one first. (Making a metric thread dial) I have found that printing the dial with the letters facing up and using support is the best way to show the letters clearly. As there are very low loads applied printing these components in PLA should be fine.
