Boxing Glove Pencil Holder

For all of the boxing and athletic fanatics out there, this the office supply that you need to have in order wow your coworkers. This is a boxing glove that is allowed to hold pencils and pens on a desk. There are 16 deep holes on the top of the glove. There's also lettering on the back wrist area the prints the famous boxing brand "Everlast" and that lettering can be changed or removed but has to fit the length of 8 characters. Lastly, it's a great gift to give to show your appreciation for the person, especially if they like martial arts. This project took about a month to complete. Personally, I felt that this project was big accomplishment for me since it took me awhile to fully get the overall shape and it became huge struggle to go back fix the many little errors throughout the part. I had originally designed this piece to be a calculator holder, fitting 3 graphing calculators in a glove. It would've then be duplicated so that two gloves holding 6 graphing calculators would be hung on the door of the classroom do when students walked in, they could grab one. I followed through with this idea until near the end where it ended up being too big to print and too heavy to place on the door. Instead, I scaled it down and created holes at the top so it could be a simply but cool pencil holder. this idea was interesting since it not only presented one of my teachers favorite sports but it also intimated a superhero's fists. If had an infinite amount of time, I think I would've perfected the shape of the glove or learn how to use a 3D model program to complete this design. Overall, I'm satisfied with the outcome and hope it becomes useful for my teacher.
