The long anticipated PBNVG gen 1. Halfway through the development I have already started gen 2, but all the screens sensors and wiring will be the same, so fear not the up front investment to experience the gen 1 for its successes and its flaws. -Bolts and nuts needed for final assembly of the clamshell halves are 6/32 by 3" cut to length. -The screens needed are adafruit 2" https://www.adafruit.com/product/911 The same brand as the original openscope and each unit needs a screen for each sensor. -The lenses needed are the same as the openscope. Double convex lens. https://www.instructables.com/3D-Printed-Digital-Night-Vision-The-OpenScope/ -The sensor is the same runcam model linked in the eagle scope.https://www.instructables.com/DIY-Pocket-sized-Night-Vision-Monocular-Eagle-Scop/. -A 1/4-20 nut (universal NVG/ camera mount) needs to be installed on the inside on one or both sides. -A 12v cable and plug of your choice. -An external battery pack of your choice. I used this one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/8X-AA-DIY-Battery-Holder-Case-Box-12V-With-Power-Switch-Wire-DC-2-1mm-Plug/253499408086?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 -It is critical to note that the battery pack has the power switch as well, for simaltaneous activation of all screens. -Splitter cable to utilize the left and right monacle or binary unit simaltaneously. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-1-2-DC-Power-Splitter-Cable-Cord-1-Female-to-2-Male-5-5x2-1mm-Port-Pigtals-12V/254656175605?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648 -Helmet mounted light source. Even at the incredible low lux advertised, indoors with no light sources, both this and an amplifier based unit need light. A short wave IR generator will be visible to this but not a military amplifier based unit.
