BraceTest - Testing gap widths for modeled supports and braces

thingiverse

Just a test to see how well modeled supports work after a few changes with my printer. I've done this before, making my own supports and braces, especially for tall slender vertical prints that may get floppy without some buttressing. It worked fine with a 0.4mm gap last time so I'm starting there to see how it goes. If you try these then just print it out and when done the thin square between the posts should cleanly snap off just like any other support.
