Brachistochrone curve demonstration

thingiverse

This model has two tracks, one straight line and one following a cyloid called a Brachistochrone curve. This demonstrates how the brachistochrone is faster than a straight line when travelling between two points under gravity. Has a handy storage point for the release mechanism at the rear. Designed to be used with 10mm Steel Ball Bearings but any spherical object between 8 and 12mm should work.
