8/18/15 Update I've added a new STL version with 'quick release.' This works great if you only need the caliper attachment occasionally. (Note... The rendering shows the updates, but the photos are of the old version) (Please, click the like button if you like it!) <original post> This thing provides a means of mounting a caliper to your lathe without modification to the caliper. A shield is included to protect the lathe operator's hand from injury as well as protecting the caliper jaws from damage while using the equipment.
