This is a tool for kids who are blind and learning how to spell. Project: Braille Elephant Objectives: Students would expect to learn how to spell elephant, give the word a shape and refine their fine motor skills. Audiences: I would expect kid to get the most help out of it around the kindergarten age. Preparation: to properly use this tool you must know the braille alphabet and have a little knowledge about spelling My idea for this project is for blind kids spell elephant and then be able to give it a shape. I think that this would help these kids a lot because they can use their imaginations to picture the actual word. You don't need anything but if u want the pieces to stick together while you are holding it you could put on some velcro on the edges.
