Braille is a blind people writing method and this project use 3Dprinting and Brille "6points" alphabet to learn (Italian) geography. How I Designed This Software For this project i used: Autocad Tinkercad Cura Gimp Steps I sought a picture of Political Italian Map and I downloaded it. I elaborated it with Gimp and imported in autocad with "Import Raster" tool. After I designed the bordes of each regions with "Spline" tool. At the same time I chose "6 Points" Braille Code after a research of writing codes for blind people. I found a online converter at http://www.translatum.gr/converter/braille.htm In Autocad I designed 20 tags with names of differents regions in Braille Code I exstruded the bordes designed with "extrude" tool of Autocad 3D. After I export in stl format and adjusted dimension of shapes and tags in Cura. Finaly I composed each regions shape with tag in tinkercad. Here there was the design studio for assembling whitouth interference between tags of differents shapes. Project Objective the purpose of this project is to help blind kids to learn the Italian geography by touching the shapes of 3Dprinted regions. Audience Every body could play with puzzle game of italian regions but it was created for blind kids from 4+ Preparation -Teachers take 2 or more team of kids and explain that there are shapes of italian regions with tags in Braille. -teachers explain that it's a puzzle and could start asking what are the regions that confine with a determinates ones. Steps -Pupils try to compose puzzle touching, asking and comparing with others kids and teachers. -taechers say stop when time finish or when puzzle is completed. -Teachers declere winners Results Kids enjoyed!!! because they are speaking with us and with teachers after an manual experience. Kids are learned!!! Italian geograpy, now he can says where are located the differents regions and are touched geograpy shape of Italy. Teachers can invite higer pupils to create an other geograpy puzzle with blind students helps.
