I made this models of the brain vascular system (The circle of Willis) out of MRI scan. MR angiography (MRA) is a technique to visualize blood vessels. I extracted the vascular structures (arteries) and after minor editing, printed it. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 2 mm layer thickness Infill: 30% Notes: The best support making application for this kind of models is Meshmixer Post-Printing Coloring and after print treatment I used DCM to smooth the model and also strengthen it. Afterwards, I colored it to red to implement "artery". I installed the model on a wooden plate by acrylate glue.
