Looking online there are a lot of great tutorials on how to rebuild an automotive brake caliper, but there's one thing that they all take for granted, an air compressor. Without one, the "simple" task of extricating the piston is probably impossible. So, I designed a basic adaptor for a bicycle pump to be used to provide us with the pressure we need. The adaptor has provision for a flathead screwdriver but I would recommend only using this to get the thread started. I used pliers to grab the adaptor **from the thread** to allow the adaptor to be threaded sufficiently to make a good seal. They're available in M8, M10, & M12 in short / long & Fine / Med / Coarse pitch configurations. I recommend the short one, but if you're having difficulties attaching your bike pump than try the long. I printed my M10 fine short adaptor with 0.1mm layers in PLA to ensure a good tooth profile, but you could probably get away with lower quality settings considering how tight the fit is. Don't forget to put in something to stop your piston from going flying!
